I'm torn between a 1200R, big bagger or a dirt bike for my next bike. I wouldn't mind getting my hands on an old XT or TT500, or both since I have the SR500. It would be cool to have the trifecta.

Yep, thats the one. Finally happy with some pipes I found for it. They are fishtail drags with some big thunder baffles installed. Sounds wicked. I'm not used to getting so many comments about a bike. People don't say to much about the V Rod. But this onegets too much attention. I have old women, men, kids etc... commenting on the bike when I stop for gas, at red lights or whatever. I think they confuse it for an old 48 pan or something. Not used to that.
