I really like the V-Rod, in fact my idea is a Dyna/V-Rod hybrid custom. I got a V-Rod tire on the front and a Nightrain wheel on the rear. My next Mod V-Rod fork & treewith same rake ason V-Rod . Any Ideas youfella's might have that would make my bike look more like a V-Rod.

I recently began coming here for info and ideas regarding my Road King. I usually hang at the V-Rod Forum, oh sorry, 1130cc.com. I will say however that I have found the other forum much more user friendly by being able to search the various threads, etc. Maybe I am just not getting it here and someone can help me out as to how to search for a topic or item in particular.
Anyway, 1130cc.com is by far where all the V-Rod action is but I'll stay in touch on both since I have one of each, Revo & Evo.

Not all, unless you're referring to lies.

Well, it's probably because you take the time to bitch about someone knocking over your bike on thatother forum but say nothing over here. Ifyou want this site to be more active it's probably going to have to start with you.

b.t.w. I'm sorry to hear about your bike. Insurance can be a pain to deal with, just ask me.

Unless I wanted to replace the stock exhaust my deductable is way too high.

I'm sure insurance would go up a little too... not really worth it...

You think I should post that in the general section here too? When it comes to bitching, I feel a little too whiney posting it on more than one board...

I don't know, it's a personal preference. I didn't post about my accident in the general section, just here in the VRSC section. It's a crap-shoot either way, I was just saying that if you want this section is to get more activity then things should be shared here.

I think one of the challenges is that v-rodders really don't have much to bitch about. When I was looking to get one, I called my friend who owns a custom shop and asked him what he thought of v-rods and whether he worked on them. He said, "I don't work on 'em." I said, WHAT? and he replied, "They don't break. Great bikes. The only one I have now in the shopI'm putting a turbo on it."

So, I think part of it is that we don't have to tinker with our bikes .... just ride.

If it makes you feel better you can type in 1250cc.com and it will take you to the same place. I just read talk that there will be the 1130cc logo on the left side and a 1250cc.com on the right side of that site.
