It's running but not riding. I played hell trying to get exhaust since Screamin Eagle's are not made any longer. I found some and they are going to Jet-Hot right now to be coated.
About a month back my ride got knocked down in a parking lot while I was inside... I thought somone was f***ing around with it and dropped it... looks now like maybe someone backed into it... I don't know, came out and it was on it's right side... Thought it was a little out of alighnment... and the stock exhaust was scratched, and the foot break was busted, but other than that thought it was fine. Been riding it since (weather permiting-with rigged foot break because part to fix has been on back order). Well today brought it in for my 1k sercive and they find that the frame has taken some damage as well as the forks... so it's gonna be big money... so I'll be filing with insurance...
Only good thing is now I can have them fix every nic and scratch since it's way over my deductable anyways...
I just have a feeling it will be months for them to get all those parts in...
Actually found out about it between when I first posted, and when your first response (wasn't thinking missery loved company ).
that really sucks herr. I don't know what i would will do if once i get a bike if i found someone on it or ****ing with it. I lie, i'd kick their ***. Best of luck with it bro, but from the sounds of everyone elses problems it may be a while.
Eazy- I hope that you don't take off from the forum. Your knowledge is too damn amazing and your too chill of a person it seems. I would have posted this in the other thread but it is locked. Glad to hear your bike is running, hopefully it will be riding by the spring.
