I believe I read somewhere once that the Revolution engine was by FAR the least problematic engine ever released by HD I know on other V-Rod sites that many owners are touting mileages up near 70,000 miles with zero problems

And they are riding them hard, shifting at 6000 rpm and redlining. No problems.
Yes, they are that good!! I've rode and wrenched on Harley's since 1976... Bar none, the revolution motor is the best motor to ever come out of the factory... And it is solid thru out, no problems... The only problem you will have is keeping a quantity of rear tires for it ... The only weak point that I can see is the suspension... The stock shocks are not the best in the world but, there are plenty of after market upgrades that will improve that portion of the bike... It is the smoothest Harley I've ever owned, the fastest Harley (soon to have a Trask Turbo) I've ever owned, and corners like it belongs there Good luck with your hunt for a V-Rod, you won't be dissappointed ...
