Yeah, they're that good! As stated above fast as hell, cool as hell looking, and virtually trouble free. Nothing quite like 'em.

RJ, I can think of one in worse condition than yours. It be that silver one in Tejas with the spinner muffler.

I believe I read somewhere once that the Revolution engine was by FAR the least problematic engine ever released by HD I know on other V-Rod sites that many owners are touting mileages up near 70,000 miles with zero problems

Am I the only one?

Every winter my bike falls apart in the garage. Every spring it looks different. Every pay day, I have no money. I can't be the only one...........
You aren't the only one RJ. My damn bike has issues every winter that seem to cost me a boatload of money to correct.

I don't own a V rod but have always liked their look.I never seem to read about problems with them, are they really that good?
30,000 miles and no problems. This is the best kept secret in the HD line up! But I think the masses will soon figure this out[8D]

And they are riding them hard, shifting at 6000 rpm and redlining. No problems.

Yes, they are that good!! I've rode and wrenched on Harley's since 1976... Bar none, the revolution motor is the best motor to ever come out of the factory... And it is solid thru out, no problems... The only problem you will have is keeping a quantity of rear tires for it ... The only weak point that I can see is the suspension... The stock shocks are not the best in the world but, there are plenty of after market upgrades that will improve that portion of the bike... It is the smoothest Harley I've ever owned, the fastest Harley (soon to have a Trask Turbo) I've ever owned, and corners like it belongs there Good luck with your hunt for a V-Rod, you won't be dissappointed ...
