Default saddle bags
I bought some saddlebags off ebay and all hardware was suppose to be included. It appears that I am missing a pair of brackets called "shock mount brackets". Im wondering if these are suppose to be on the bike and not part of a mounting kit. Since I bought the bike used Im not sure if some stuff is missing or not. Im still waiting from the seller for more info. These are the leather bags that used to be offered.

no, thats mount is part of the installation kit

OK, if you scroll to the bottom of the pdf parts list look at #16, will I need this also?

# 16 is the shock mount that you are talking about and If I remember right it is only available in the installation kit

Sometimes you can get one or more pieces of a kit from a Harley stealership rather than buying a whole kit. You might try that option.
