The CFR is a very popular pipe. It has a great sound, and a mean look. It doesn't loose HP like most 2-2 pipes do. It does ride pretty low, and the biggest complaint I've heard is dragging it. There are quite a few folks who have a problem with the pipes working loose. They are only held in place by the figure 8 clamp.
Take a look at the new Rinehart 2-1. The "new" part is that it is now available in black. It's a full system, makes power, and has 02 sensor bungs in place.
It will require a good fuel management system. I'm decidedly biased, but I perfer a system that programs the ECM. I'm not a fan of piggy back type devices, a-la PCIII, or pulse width modulator, especially with the new closed loop ecms.
I'm fond of the older SERT, and the new Master Tune comes from the folks who made the SERT's so that has become my default favorite.
i was wondering if i do go with either can the service dept make proper adjustments after all they will be the one to put them on or do i still need to get a fuel management and if so which is the best fuel management for the cfrs seems more in my price range
