If interest, parked the bullet cam on the helmet, pressed "record" and entered the canyon. Clouds came in. Egads... sand, spitting snow, snow on the north facing slopes But there is nice color contrast, good curves, and just as I caught up to a truck four minutes into the vid the batteries crapped out. Ahh, the memories only two wheels can deliver. Debated whether to post. Here it is.
Thanks for the ride through the mountains.
Can you give info on the model of helmet cam and camcorder you used for this video? It had excellent picture quality and sound, and being I am video illiterate, I need help in purchasing a set up like you use.
Thanks everyone. Mickey... The helmet cam came from helmetcamera.com. It fed a DVD camcorder in a back pack. I typically place the camcorder in a fanny pack, but this was something else unplanned with the ride! I left the fanny pack back at home. The helmet cam is the key. Most any budget MiniDV camcorder would suffice to take the feed. HTH, Steve
