Crash bars...anyone have them?
My wife is thinking about getting a V-Rod and I want her on a bike with crash bars. No body plans on going down on a bike but getting her pretty leg tore up by a bike does not sound like something I want her to experience. Anyway, anyone have them? Any pictures? I'd really like to see what a V-Rod looks like with the bars. The 09 parts book pic does not really show what it looks like. Thanks.

here is another shot probably not a good representation with the fairing but here it is. i also have some with the snap on leather fairings i had made.

Unfortunately no picture available, but my friend's dad has what you're asking about. His V-Rod has a stock pewter frame and chrome crash bar. It all flows very well and it would be a safe leap of faith to go through with it. Hopefully someone else has pictures to prove me right.

Saw a set on a DX in the used bike area of the dealer yesterday. Looks O.K.
