Default Custom seats

I have started a company creating custom motorcycle seats for all makes and models of bikes. We mostly recover the customers seat pans, but we will modify them to the customers needs. Together we have over 40 years experience working with leather. We specialize in tooled leather seats, but we can also do any upholstery leather or exotic hides as well. Here are some examples of the seats we have done.

I've got a seat pan for a custom build (Redneck Mutant Buell) that I need covered. I'd be interested to know what you charge and what kind of turn around time I'd be looking at. Also, what type of material do you use for the seat foam? The bike is rigid, so I need all the cushion I can get.

Thanks.

On a rigid bike we normally use a two part foam. We use a thick soft layer on top with a denser foam on the bottom to keep from hitting the pan on a hard bump. The cost to cover and foam varies slightly depending on the material to be used. A tooled seat with foam starts @ 350 that is with foam, tooled design and cross stitched lacing. For a very elaborate design in tooling we add $50. Upholstery leather would run you $300. Turnaround time for either is 2 weeks at the most. If you would like more information e-mail me @ leeedder0382@yahoo.com.

Thanks for the reply, I'm still shopping around and trying to figure out exactly what I want to do, but I'll keep you posted.

Thanks!
