My wife has an 03 V-Rod, and it's a great bike. But once they started painting them in 03 and later, I noticed and still see that they do not color match the shroud around the instrument cluster - they leave it grey to match the frame. Just seems unfinished to me when they do that.
We had her bike custom painted and had it matched then. Looks 100% better IMHO. What are your thoughts on HD not painting that piece?
Lets see if they are all one color
1) keeps production cost down
2) less inventory to carry
3) won't have to wait 6 week for a replacement color run
And there are members here that have a couple of different color tin sets, and change them out now and again. Me included. So the stock color housing suit me just fine
