V-Rod is just awesome looking
(I posted this thread in the general chat section - I was recommended to post here - I just do not know how to move that thread in here - so sorry about the repost)
Even though I am waiting for the weather to cool down - so I can retake the MSF course (pass it too) before the HD ride event in my area. I was originally after the sportster as my first bike ever - but I can't get my eyes off V-Rod (and at times FatBoy)...but V-Rod totally captures my imagination - it is just plain badass looking.
I dunno what is up with HD's I can't seem to appreciate any Japanese bikes - my heart just goes for the HD's....and Chromed up V-Rod is what I want.
So, V-Rod Muscle has an amazing rear fender - is it possible to have that rear fender on a used old 2002 V-Rod? I am most likely going to buy used V-rod as it is cheaper and my first bike..but I want the lights/look of the V-Rod Muscle...I hear all the parts can be changed in a HD - so is this possible and where do I look for this - at the dealer?
And I want to where this guy got all the parts for ultra chromed bike? (I will email him) http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/12075...fvi%3D1&_rdc=1
Let me know,
Tron2
Thanks.

The VROD was such a "wrong" choice for me because I like going on weekend trips 'n' stuff with the woman and a bagger is more suitable - but I got the VROD anyway. Bad Seamus.
It's just a damn pretty bike in my opinion.
If I ride down the coffee shop and the bike is parked in view I'll just sit there looking a it with a hint of a smile on my face - like perving at a good sort in tight jeans.
For me, the bike is a work of art - a sculpted performance machine half cruiser half futuristic ride out of some anime clip. I had not researched it - didn't know about the Porche engineering - just saw it and fell in love (or lust).
Gotta learn how to clean it without wrecking it… because with the white denim paint job and living near the beach (salt air) I gotta be careful.
I still want a Street Glide or Road King - something with bags and a fairing with big ***** speakers in it 'cause we love our music and for me ear plugs are a pain. So I'll have to get a second job and will have no time to ride… d'oh!

The woman was pissed off when I brought the VROD home. She reckons the VROD is a wedge in our relationship - and she's right.
Maybe that's the name I'll give the bike - "WEDGE".

The other name I considered was "Methane", 'cause the bike is "silent, but deadly" - I don't want to put loud pipes on it. Love the silence.

Yeah, the VROD IS just awesome looking, I reckon.
