Default Speedometer removable
Is anyone able to tell me how to disconnect the speedometer housing from my stock bars on a 2002 V rod VRCSA

2 words for you sir. Service Manual..

if memory serves me correct, you remove the backplate on the speedo then pull the speedo straight up

Depending on your specific model you may have to remove the clamshell cover which should just be a couple of bolts to get to the bolts that hold the cluster in place. There should be 2 bolts holding the cluster in place, one that runs horizontally and one that runs vertically. Remove those 2 bolts and the cluster should come right out.
