I see what you were getting at:

Does the 2005 have a 3 or 5 gallon tank?
As stated: 3.7 gallons, but I've never been able to get more than 3.4 when totally out of gas. Harley-Davidson switched to the 5 gallon tank in the VRSCs in 2007.Hate to brag, and I'll start a thread when I'm released from my confidentiality agreement, but I have a 5 gallon tankin my '06

With 7500 miles should I change tires?
If they are worn out, yes. If not, there is no need unless you want to go to the 200mm. I changed mine a 7200, but that was strictly because they were so worn they were becomingunsafe to ride on farther.

Should I have a bib for the top of the tank?
I have one for mine, but some say that it allows dirt to get beneath and scratch the paint. If you put one on, take it off carefully every time you wash the bike. Before you put it back on, make sure the underside is clean.

What size windshield so wind just goes over my head?
It depends on your height. I have a Memphis Fats 21" and look over it by about an inch, give or take. I use it for long trips, but I also use a 13" for shortertrips and none for around town/short runs.

Heres another site to check out. www.1130cc.com. It used to be the v-rod forums but the moco was a bit upset so they changed the site name. Lots of great stuff.

Yeah, if you tote the line and fall in like sheep. Don't ever have an opinion of your own, it's highly frowned upon.
