I just purchased the Bassani slip ons for the Muscle. I'm wondering if I can just place em' on and roll OR if I shd worry about the fuel mgmt and/or mapping to correct. At my local HD dealership, service crew said it will adjust to the slip ons and has the built in technology to take the added power BUT I would need an HD converter of some kind, forgot the actual part - but no power commander or mapping necessary. Any thoughts?? Greatly appreciated!!

The biggest thing you'll probably notice is some popping on deceleration. Other than that you should be good to slap 'em on and roll.
I just put a set of TAB baffled on my 09 AW - I thought I would try them without a tuner as I did not change my aircleaner - I gotta tell you other than what the CPT mentioned of a little popping on decel - THE THING RUNS TERRIFIC! It popped a bit with the stock muffler's - I just pull the clutch in and decelerate a little more slowly. Believe it or not the gas mileage increased by about 4 mpg
Go Figure!!
It is loud even with the baffles - but I really like that "cam lope" sound at idle - You will get HD riders attention when you fire it up.
So far so good!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
