You are asking the right questions but on the wrong forum

Go over to www.1130cc.com - introduce yourself and then get on the
VRSCDX heading - that's where you can get the answers your looking for.

This forum has 1/10th the traffic in the VRSC section that 1130cc.com has

Sold mine but here is a before and after pic with stock then the SuperTrapps on it. I really like the ability to tune it by adding/removing the baffel plates.

Congrats on the new bike! Like others have said, if you have tech questions, 1130cc.com is the place to go...

280 is a bad move on the NRS unless you're going with a wider swingarm and wider wheel. You "can" stuff a 280 on the stock rim but it looks flat and stupid and handles like ****. I had one for about 15 miles and got rid of it. Your bike will want to stand up mid corner and run for the curb. If you want to make a huge upgrade look at the Pirelli Night Dragon tires as a replacement for the stock Dunlop bricks that come on there.

As far as exhaust I vote CFR all the way. Loved mine and never had a problem with it. Here are some pics of my old 07 VRSCDX NRS (sold it last September). Just some slight mods....

Swapped the 07 slotted wheels for 09 Muscle wheels, Bob Dron fairing, H-D dual halogen headlamp with headwinds relocation kit, GR customs Xtreme front fender, reach seat, "48" mirrors, Arnott air ride, PCIII, CFR exhaust, 3" straight risers, 32" drag bars, "D" model narrow rear fender, relocated f/r signals, custom license plate mount, new grips, levers, foot controls, Pirelli night dragon tires, custom airbox cover, and probably a bunch of other stuff I forgot.

Thanks for the comments guys. I've been trying to register to the 1130cc.com forums for a few days now but they keep denying my registration due to some reason I don't know.
