need info
Howzit everyone! My first bike got stolen about 2 weeks ago. It was a rocket cbr 1000. Any way I go looking for a newbike and decided to look at this dealer that sells Kawasaki's and Harleys. My wife wanted me to check out some Harleys (she always wanted me to get aHarley)so I decided to just look. Honestly I was not a fan of the bikes cause it seemed to big for me. Ahh but I noticed the v-rod bikes. I'm thinking maybe, then the salesman shows me the screaming eagle. Wow!! I want one!! That is one of the best looking bikes I've ever seen. But I want to know what you folks think about this bike and where on the net I can get more information about it as far as reviews goes. I don't know anything about Harley's but I do know that I want to get this bike. Any information would be very helpful for me.

Enjoyed a 1000RR for over two years here. Sweet bike. But more affection forthe V-Rods I've been riding foralmost fiveyears.
First place I'd spend some time is at the H-D corporate site. Point the browser to:

And in the V-Rod family at the site spend time examining the VRSCX Screaming Eagle model. Very tasteful. I came very close to buying one last autumn, but then opted for a Night Rod Special instead. With the SE you get the bigger bore engine, the tribute to the successful V-Rod drag racing program, and other nice touches. The web site will give you the scoop.
The V-Rod flies unlike other power cruisers, and while it won't carve the curves like the RR, there will be more roads where it is a finer ride.

When a crotch rocket magazine says that this Harley (V-Rod) is incredible, what more can you ask for?!
Good luck
Thanks guys for all the info. But when I went back to the dealer for all the financing part. What I was told I was going to pay in the morning was a lot different in the afternoon. All of a sudden they wanted more money up front and more of a monthly payment so I said forget it. Would have been nice but maybe some other time.
