Anyone going to add a new Street to go along with the VRod. lI plan to add one as the little brother to the Night Rod.

There may be one in my garage this summer. I hope to get a test ride this year in Sturgis. It looks like a fun bike to have.

I personally would never buy a first year production bike. Most recommend the third year in order to get the "bugs" out of it and make improvements. Just like the first couple of years of the V-Rod plagued with bad fuel flanges, fuel supply lines that were rubbing through on the rear coil, Shifter ratchet paws and so on. The "street" is a revolution based engine as far as looks, but is totally different from the V-Rod revolution engine and going to have growing pains and updates through the years.

The first year thing is a good point, but I figure what the heck. I already bought the first year of the wet head limited. Why not keep rolling the dice.

The road test of the Street also mentioned that the brakes were not up to par, it took a lot more effort than normal and could use improvement.

The Rushmore "Water Head" is not a completely redesigned engine. It is still a twin cam with different heads.
