New but learning Quick
found the bike in "scratch and dent"
because I recuse and save!
got it home via a trailer then registered for the HD Riding Academy
to get rid of the bad habbits I had 35 years ago that left me in a body cast
since the purchase I've invested about $3000 in repairs and upgrades,
the riding course was the best thing I or anyone should do, 4 days of hell and fun and defensive training
I rode for about 12 years in my younger years, always with the "rice burners"
always a must go fast and always a mistake
I switched to 4 wheels and with my love of American built cars I have gone thru 26 classics, collectors and one of a kinds in the last 17 years, each fixing /building, trading working up to something better until I finally filled my man cave with my dream car 600 plus Shelby GT500
then the bottom fell out with the wife losing her job with the space progam and being the good husband I am selling my collection to cut back and take over full responsibilities on bills
I know you all don't care about the history but pictures are best
but to make my intro
this has to be done right
all the way from building frame offs, giving myself cancer twice doing it, making it thru 2 direct hit hurricanes, being a Vietnam vet and becoming a rescue home for lost dogs, cats, squires! what ever the wife came across while I was out of town on jobs!
"oh honey, he's / she's so cute! can I keep her"?!
Bike? Scoot! Harley Davidson!
2001 FXDWG2
a little small for the 6' 4" frame but what I've done is making it better, plus not riding for such a long time it's a easy big to handle plus it looks cool as you know what with all the chrome, red and gold!
I'll get in office tomorrow and start building a library
