backfire and stalls

2006 Sportser Custom 1200
I owna 2006 Sportster Custom 1200. I have not riden it in 3 months. Rode it the other day and it wants to die and backfire while throttle is used. Stalls at a stop unless i throttle hard while clutched.
Could it be bad gas from sitting or a dirty air cleaner or fuel hose? Does'nt seem to be getting enough gas i guess.
Please help!

Welcome, but your question/issue is best posted in the appropriate section (e.g. Sportsters or carb/maint). Guessing you have stale/bad fuel, or something stuck in carb...might need to drain the system and do a carb kit...for starters.
