No wheels right now.
But I joined anyway to learn more about Harley Davidson the LOML bought me The Encyclopedia of Harley Davidson for my birthday & I've read most of it page for page accept the part about Buell.
So many models so much to understand & figure out. The LOML is still trying to figure out if she made a mistake or not buying me this book. My favorite is the Road King I think it's because it's probably one of the first motorcycles I ever saw as a kid over 50 years ago.
The only motorcycle I ever had was a 1977 Kawasaki I rode it every day for about 3 years around San Diego area. I have been looking at Sportsters & Fatboy's I like the size of the Fatboy & the bigger gas tank & heavier tires etc.
I need a 2 up machine "LOML loves to ride" with storage for 2 helmets & what ever trinkets we pick up while out riding. Our primary riding would be short trips 100 mile round trip or a little more & short exploratory day trips down back roads to see whats there to see. We live on Whidbey Island WA.
In any cases I would purchase a used bike. I've been keeping an eye on Craigs list & the local dealers offerings by internet listing.
This may take awhile before I am ready to purchase going through some health issues that need to be resolved first.
