The only pointer that I can offer is that I don't see a cooler of cold beer in the picture to help you with your project. Enjoy and Welcome, it looks like a good project !
here'a pic of it after I tore it all apart and painted over the winter of 73 .. I added the 6 bend bars, 6 over tubes, K_Q seat, 16 Hog rear wheel, polished the cases, Threw away the tillotson and put a Mikuni carb on then I had to have the heads redone after it dropped a rear valve at 3800 miles. replace the drive sprockets, twice, it ate up chains bad, about every 3K miles.
After 3 yrs I tired of working on the bike all the time just so I could ride it...
Fix it up and My best advice it sell it and get a more modern Harley which is more dependably and road worthy if it's going to be your only ride...
Welcome to HDF and ride side and have a great summer. From Indiana..
