Hello, I'm new to Dante Firumns, but not new to riding Harley's. I've been riding approximately 30 years, yet my background has mostly been in restoring classic American 60s muscle cars.
My current ride is a 2012 Denim Black Street Glide with the following specs:
Screaming Eagle Super Sucker
V&h pro pipe
SE high output oil pump
SE battery cables
Stock Heads and Pistons
Than 555 torqster cam
SE lifters
SEPT
DayMaker Headlight
Day maker running lights
Day maker fog lights
Custom dynamics led bulitz turn signals,
Rear Custom dynamics brake lights, LED tri-bar, and rods set to run, break & turn
Stock throttle body
Low low low bank account
4 hour dyno tune with average numbers pulling 102HP 111TQ
Quite happy with the results compared to the stock pipes and SE slip ons.
I gave my wife my 2003 1200xlc with more mods and chrome than I can list, so she hasn't noticed my upgrades yet.
Only had the bike a month, so, not bad for a bagger beginner.
The Street Glide has a smoking set-up and a great tune. Flat curves up to about 6k rpm. Probably fun for a few months, then all hell will break loose.
