Great forum here. I have been lurking since before picking up my 15 Street Glide a month ago. Great information here.
First time Harley owner, and only had the bike that I traded for it about six months. So I am a pretty new rider all around. I grew up around motorcycles my whole life. My grandfather is a big touring guy, riding in 49 out of 50 states (never got to Hawaii). He had many bikes and picked up an Electra Glide in 84 or 85 when I was in Junior High. Finally picked one up myself at 43, and got to fulfill a dream of riding with him a few weeks ago. He is almost 89 years old and has a converted Firefighter Edition trike. Rode through some nice scenery in Arkansas and it was a blast.
