That's a beautiful bike. That you were able to find an 'untouched' 95 is pretty amazing.
I'm impressed you got 300 miles in, in just one week. I'm getting in about 100 miles a week at this point. I'm hoping when I get a little more comfortable at faster speeds, that will all change.
Being new to this too, I'll be following your progress and enjoying hearing about your experiences.
I've been riding it as my daily when the weather cooperates. I just take off and go ride the back roads. There's lots of cool places to ride around here. Having the bike gives me an excuse to just take off.

Almost five hundred miles in and my bike breaks down on the highway in rush hour. Now I'll be learning how to change a diaphragm in my carb this weekend apparently.
That sucks man, shuldent be too big of a problem. Are you going to rebuild the entire carb, or just replace the diaphram?
Honestly I'm not really sure. One of my good friends is a dealership mechanic at a local HD dealer. He's coming over to help show me how to fix it. I'm not sure what the plan is

Turned out to be a loose clip on the jet that kept it from moving when the float moved. Easy fix. Went for a two hour ride yesterday and broke 500 miles on the bike.
