Just picked up a '15 Slim after offloading a Ninja. Been riding for years, but the sport bike has stayed young, while I have not. So far, no regrets, riding into work and back every day. Still adjusting to the change in riding style, biggest adjustment being to quit burning into turns.
Scheduled for my 1K service next week and getting some Rush Slip ons, new intake and mapping. Hard to believe HD puts out stock bikes that you can hear a scooter coming from the opposite direction. Other than that, not planning on any major changes till 2016.
Looking forward to riding with some old Army friends to Bike FEst in Raleigh in another week. Hope to get a lot of ideas for 2016 upgrades and meet some other locals.
Welcome anyone going to pm me.
Other than that, take it easy. If I don't see you on the road, maybe I'll see you on the boards...
Convert ? Maybe not. I think there's a little HD rider in all of us waiting to get out. He's born the moment you first hear a HD that sounds like one, (potato, potato), and matures when you ride away from the dealer with a smile that just won't quit.
