Greetings All. Just dropping a quick introduction for myself. I'm a relatively new, since May, of a 2015 Dyna Wide Glide. I had 5 previous years riding a Honda Shadow, which was a fine starter bike. But this year i had the itch for something new, and ever since i took the MSF class through a local HD dealer and got to look at and sit on some HDs, i knew i'd eventually own, or at least try to, an HD. Initially i thought i'd have to shoot for something pre-owned, but after not finding anything, i started browsing the new bikes on the dealer web site, and when i saw the Wide Glide, i thought, what the hell, it can't hurt to request more information. Well, that started a chain of events that resulted in a test ride, a lengthy discussion with my wife, and bringing the new ride home two days later. I never could have imagined how different the ride on the WG would be from that of the Shadow. It's been a blast over the last four months retracing all of my standard rides and finding new ones. Aside from a bag i got from Bad & G Customs, i haven't done anything in the way of mods. My first priority was to be able to carry some stuff. I'll probably do the Stage 1 set of mods in the off season.
I'm looking forward to reading and learning from other members' experiences.
