Hi guys, new to the forum scene. I just bought my first HD in Dec. Its a 2005 Dyna Wide Glide, it had 7000 mi then 9500 mi now. Drag bars and Vance & Hines Big Shots staggered were already on it. I love the sound of the pipes. My problem is today when I was riding I heard a strange rattle. When I stopped and checked it out, all the welds onall 3mounting brackets for the rear or top heat shield have broken. There is no dents or scratches on the shield.It still looks great.
Can I get the brackets welded back on without discoloring the chome or am I going to have to geta new shield? Any advice?

Yep, thats kinda what I thought. Well thanks for the help. I'm learning a ton of stuff on here already. As soon as I figure out how to the the file size down on some of my pics I'll get them on here.
