Hey everyone, I'm new here. I bought my first Harley a few months ago and have been hard at work trying to make it "mine". I grew up riding a Suzuki TS 125 and for the past 8 years or so have been riding a Suzuki Boulevard C50. Always wanted a Harley and fell in love with the Forty-Eight on a showroom floor. I actually went to the dealership for a new battery for my C50 but they didn't have any. On my way out the mentioned "But every Harley comes with a new battery." I kind of laughed and turned around standing face-to-face with the 2015 Forty-Eight. I'm a smaller-framed guy and like smaller bikes as a result. Something about the Forty-Eight and me just clicked and a few days later the trade was made and I was riding her off the lot. Since then I've done the stage 1 mod with V&H short slants, a Roland Sands air intake and the Screaming Eagle street tuner. Threw on a solo bag so I didn't have to wear my backpack like a dork everywhere. Then I swapped out with HD drag bars, slipped my front signals down the fork, swapped out the grips. I removed deflectors, started ripping metal off anywhere I could. I covered the back fender deflectors with black reflective tape. Then came the DK tank lift, coil and F6 ignition relo. My kids got me a solo springer seat that I just installed tonight. The picture is kind of dark because, well, it was dark outside, lol. I have a set of grips/pegs to install but found out the hard way that I needed a new peg adapter due to some weird change Harley made. That should be here tomorrow so I'm looking forward to that. Anyway, I've been trolling this forum for months looking at all of your bikes, trying to figure out what I want mine to eventually look like. I love my bike! It's nice to have this community as a resource and am just happy to be here.

Hi T,
welcome to the forum from the UK.
I gotta say I dig your style, eg:- swap this, change that, cover this up with gaffa tape etc....
Your wheels will soon be yours if you carry on like that mate!!!
Cheers
