From central CT - After many years of riding street bikes, I was able to purchase a new-to-me a black pearl, 08 FLHX Street Glide and to be honest, I'm pleasantly surprised.
For the past few years, I've been riding 2-up and my girlfriend and I, along with our friends, like to ride throughout New England. Needless to say, having a passenger on the back on a street bike for 200+ miles at a time kind of sucks. Solo is a different story. Once in a while I like to go on hell rides, hopefully I'll still be able to do that with the SG.
I'm looking forward to getting to know the bike and enjoying trips in a new way - without a backpack full of flip flops, curling irons, make-up bags etc.
This forum is a priceless chest of knowledge. It has helped me so much already and I continue to learn daily. Thank you everyone for sharing. Hope to do the same.
