New Guy Tonight
Working on Wife's '97 Fatty. Just pressed new foot shift bushings into bracket and it seems looser than it was with the old ones. I installed two (P/N) 33708-94 bushings. The package was dated 4/13/16, so I'm thinking maybe the new FLSTF's have a thicker spline rod. Yikes. Just checking in and seeing how all this works. I have 3 Harleys that I wrench on because I'm not rich like the guys I ride with, who all have 103's. Thought I could connect with folks like me who have more than one tube of locktite in their garage, and maybe get some tech tips now and again on keeping my old beauties roadworthy. Anyways, thanks much.
