i happen to be a finance manager at a car dealership. do as all have said. if they lost the paperwork you are still on the hook for the bike. resign new papers, and as ice said make sure the numbers did not change. just remember as i tell all my clients. "even though you are buying the bike, you dont own it til the last payment is made. just skip a few payments and see how fast the bank comes and gets THEIR bike"
.... and yes, make sure the contract hasn't changed and sign it. You don't want to be on bad terms with the Dealership. You never know when you'll need them. And besides.... You're part of the family now, don't screw us.
like others have said take your papers with you and confirm no changes. a friend of mine bought a new ultra and they came with different (and more expensive) wheels on it than he had purchased it with. the dealer and my friend didnt even notice it (i guess its "new bike syndrome") until he got home. he called the dealer the next day and they asked him to come back down and when he did he said they all stood around looking at it and the dealer said enjoy them, their mistake!!! couldn't believe it. anyways, if you had mods put on prior to delivery, perhaps something may be different. go over everything with a fine tooth comb and hopefully its nothing. good luck...
