I have actually made it as far as Starved Rock. The first time I took those S curves east around County Line rd, I had a little scare. Learned from that real quick.
The Starved rock ride is awesome, Did you ride in the park? It gets pretty twisty in there with nice elevation changes!
Those s curves and county line Rd. hold A LOT of memories for me. They can be very deceiving for sure!!
Its awesome that you are out there putting your fists in the wind.

We went into the park but it had recently flooded so the roads were not the greatest so we left. Too many people too. Maybe as it gets cooler we will try again.
Welcome! Hope you can get to the Black Hills. The riding here is awesome!
We've been to the Black Hills many times. The Badlands are my happy place, truly my favorite place on earth. We plan on hitting them on our way back from Wyoming next year.
