Sorry, but you aren't going to find a tank for a 2001 FXLR. FXLR's were made from 1987-1994 and no FXR's have been made since 2000.

My Bad!
In any event, I purchased a very nice bike this past month from a lady who unfortunately stopped riding. It is a custom painted teal color (fairing bags etc) and I am not going ruin it painting it over!
This is why I am looking for information on what are my possibilities for the tank.
Thank you for bringing it to my attention that my right index finger slipped off the r key.
