Thank you everyone for the welcome. Still waiting to pick up my bike, but I've already compiled a "wish list" of projects and parts from the post I've seen on here. I've already ordered a 3.3 gallon tank and reproduction 1947-1950 tank badges. I like the idea of the extra fuel and I refuse to mess with that metallic factory paint. That tank is going in the attic so it will not get messed up. Now to decide on a paint color. The fenders will remain stock black so I'm thinking a cream/beige color with the tank. I'm going for the simple old school look.
