Hello All, Just joined this forum today. Life is too busy. I got this 2005 HD E-glide UC-FLHTCUI, in 2015, after a trade off of two bikes on the same day plus the difference in cash. Those two bikes were (1) 1977 Honda Goldwing GL1000. (2) 1976 Honda CB750 F-series Superfour. Grew up in western part of India. Bicycles, then mopeds like Luna, TVS50 etc, then Vespa, then Bajaj Chetak (scooters, 250cc), then Royal Enfield nicknamed "Bullet" 500cc, then Ind-Suzuki and then got here in 86. Always missed bikes until in 1994, I got me my first Honda Nighthawk 250. I rode that all over, day and night, in and out of Houston. Then got me that Goldwing GL1000...I literally maintained that mostly by my own workmanship, even rebuilt the carbs on it. But then it was time to get me a fuel injected one. The ride is flawless so far. have not been on a long ride. Family and work schedule constantly defeats my pursuit. One day will come though, when I will break loose from all the bonds to go on a long ride. That would be awesome and so greatly appreciated. I have been rained out on motorcycles all my life...consider riding during 3-4 months of monsoon on the west coast of India...only then you would know. Anyways, I would be placing updates from time to time, as to what I do with this HD. Oh, I did changed the flare-mirrors, because of the lack of visibility-area. I replaced them with taller oval mirrors. My next uploads will have those on it. The current pics have the flare-mirrors.
