New guy from Hammond, IN
I bought my 1st ever Harley in May of 2016 after trading in my 2013 GSXR750.
I'm 35 y/o from Hammond, IN,
The speedster in me needed to slow down a bit, plus my wife was never comfortable, nor was I when carrying her.
I purchased a used 2013 FLHTP (Electra Glide Police) with 9k miles and in amazing condition. They had retro-fitted it with civilian lights, a 1 piece driver/passenger seat, bluetooth stereo/CD player, and quick detach sissybar.
I find myself never wanting to get off that bike when I have a beautiful day off. I've put in 300 miles locally in a day. Maybe not much to you, but something I wouldve never done on my crotch rocket. And my wife loves the comfortable ride as well.
I just upgraded my mufflers, air cleaner & horn the other day. The headers will have to be next yr because this HD life aint cheap.
My only gripe are the ugly hockey puck lids, but I can live with that.
Looking forward to all the advice, tips and info I will get out of this forum.

Welcome.... here's some help on your Puck issue
Many other have had the same issue in here.. go to the touring section and ask how to remove them,, Or do a Google search on the same, either way you should get plenty of answers...
