The short of it is I'm near 63, been around bikes/bikers my whole life. Currently I'm retired and a friend and I opened a small MC repair shop focusing mainly on pre 2007 models. I've been wrenching bikes most of my life. I think I'm pretty good at it. I've worked on about everything from Flatheads to Pans and Knuckles, Shovels and Evos, Big Twins and Sportsters.
Occasionally I see something that taxes my knowledge, but it isn't often. A 1997 Sportster we did some work on keeps coming back which led me here.
I hope I can get some advice here.
Thanks all. I'm original from Long Island, Hamptons, and later Riverhead. Did an Army stint in Kansas, lived in Manhattan. Moved to southern Indiana in the late 70s with intentions on moving to Phoenix.
