What are your favorite rides and towns and time of the year to visit by motorbike in the UK? Been reading and considering Edinburgh and areas around there. I've been to London and Bath.
I'm considering a 1 or 2-week trip.
Anyway welcome. Lots of great resources on this forum.

What are your favorite rides and towns and time of the year to visit by motorbike in the UK?......
It depends exactly what you are after? For scenic rides, picturesque postcard villages I would head to the West Country. Dorset, Devon and Cornwall possibly taking in the Cotswolds as well? Best months would be June/July as the West Country gets very busy once the school Summer holidays start in earnest August.
Scotland is great too I was based there in the Royal Air Force for several years on the East Coast. The weather is not so dependable and the roads often wet even in the Summer. There are some great rideouts to be had in the Loch Lomond, Glenshee and Pitlochry regions. If you eventually decide to take upon the former idea of the West Country drop me a 'pm' the time and I can give you a more detail of exactly where to head and places of interest.
