New Here.

New to the site but not new to bikes. Grew up riding and around bikes. Have had a couple in the past but mostly sport bikes. Cant ride them anymore so I figured get a cruiser. Was planning on getting both my wife and I bikes so we could ride with her dad. He passed away about a month ago so we didn't get to do that. He left her his bike. It was originally a 02 Springer Softail but due to a accident in 05 it became a custom 70's style chopper. Was going to ride it and get her something smaller to get used to riding and she decided to take it over and me get something else. We went bike shopping a few weeks ago and picked me one out. The dealer is bringing it into their location next weekend. It is a 2018 Street Glide Special in Bonneville Salt Pearl its the matte white. I am having them put on the complete Screaming Eagle headers and 4.5" Street Cannons, SE intake, and SE tuner. I am also going to add air ride to it and center stand. I have a messed up left leg and have to have it amputated over the next year. I have a issue standing a bike up from the leaning is why I am going air ride. After the warranty is up I will do more to the engine but for now that is fine. I am looking into both the electric or air shifters and jockey shifters since my amputation will be above the knee. Once the bike comes in I will post pics of it. I will get some up of hers as well. We have to change a few things on it just to make it where she can ride it. We are changing the bars and risers, seat, and forward controls. Anyways enough about me. I am sure I will have questions along the way.
