I'm fairly new to riding and brand new to Harleys. My wife and I have been looking and talking about buying a Harley for over a year and came to the conclusion that the Fat Boy was what we wanted. While in Omaha for a wedding last week, I visited the local H-D dealer and saw just what I wanted sitting on the floor and bought it on the spot (more than a little out of character for me).
It will be delivered tomorrow. I feel like a little kid on Christmas Eve. BTW, thank you to everyone who posts on this forum! I've been visiting it for the last couple of months and have learned so much and I have to say that the enthusiasm is contagious.
That's the way to buy a bike. I went to my dealer a few years ago to buy a blue dot taillinght for my Heritage and came home with a Classic....with a blue dot taillight.
Are ya going to be able to sleep tonight?? I see that you live in St. Louis. It's getting a little chilly here in Indy. Better get some cold weather gear. Have fun and ride safe.
