Default Helmets

Just looking for opinions on brain buckets. 50/50 rider depending on state. Not fond of full face or modular. Currently using Daytona half.(Yes I know it is a novelty helmet, not even DOT certified, but does the trick in Massachusetts, Vermont & New York.) Looking at Akoury AK88. Need some user input, pro & con.
Thanks

Welcome to the Forum. This subject has been beat to death, but the short answer is that full face or modular will give far, far superior protection than half or 3/4 helmets. This from someone who spent 40 years fixing faces.

Yes, the 88 is the best you'll get if you want small and lightweight. Also, the Akoury Terminator, which is more difficult to find, is really good.

Thanks
Then why are you even asking this question?

Shave your head and spray paint it black.

Done.
