The OP said he doesn't like full coverage helmets, he doesn't like modular helmets, he wears a novelty beanie.
Let me further clarify: A novelty beanie is NOT a helmet. The OP doesn't like helmets, so he won't wear a helmet, and he's asking for suggestions on helmets.
Why? Just wear a novelty beanie.

Where did it say a helmet is not liked or ever worn? On the contrary, it said the helmet is worn 50 percent of the time, but prefers the light weight and unobstructed view of a half helmet. Soliciting members opinions on the best, protective half helmet available in their individual experience was the question. You obviously misread the entire question.
