hiya.
i joined the boards because i'm looking at buyng a specific harley, and need to know more about it
its an 89 sportster 1200, recent rebuild, andrew stage 2 cams, loud as all can be pipes, with a drag bar on it.
my question is what should i look for when buying a harley, the bike has no guages.. how would i go about buying a tach and speedo and mounting them, and what do i need to do to get a quieter exhaust... loud pipes save lives, but my hearing sucks as it is.

when you go to ebay 1 ebay motors. 2. motorcycle parts 3 american when you get there type in harley-davidson sportster and have at it. you can also narrow it to harley-davidson sportster......chrome.....wheel......seat.....tach ....sheet metal ect. ect.
