I’ve been reading the forums for a while now and finally decided to sign up.
Grew up around HDs as all of my family and their friends were riders.
Rode pit bikes/mini bikes etc as a kid whenever I could, always wanting and waiting to get on a real bike when I was an adult.
Fast forward a few years, and between school and first jobs, still had the itch, but couldn’t pull it off....then I got married. A few years after that, I took the MSF course, got licensed and was ready to buy- but the wife said it was either a bike or her. Needless to say, a few years later and she is proudly my EX WIFE! Lol
Finally, 15 yrs after getting my license, I finally bought my first bike: a used 2018 1200C. Been riding every chance I could since then (barring being out of commission half of the summer with a blown out knee). Not going to lie and brag about all of my experience, as when it comes to riding on the roads, I’m still pretty green.
