Newbie here!!
I'd be super proud to own and ride that bike.
Very cool.
I've been riding for about 25 years, but I don't have crazy mileage. My boy started riding this summer which has been amazing. I insisted he go through the HD rider's academy. I did it with him.
It was a blast and I learned a lot, even though I'm a "veteran" rider. Added bonus is that I sent my completion certificate to my insurance agent and she lowered my insurance.
If you haven't been through a rider's safety course, do it!!!
I appreciate the warm welcome!!
I pretty much decided on this thing around mid October when my lady, her dad and I ended up at an Indian dealership after brunch. Thats when my lady pointed out this 07 springer with 14 apes, chrome fishtails and air ride suspension. From then on, it felt like I got hit by lightning!!
I obviously seen my buddies and ladys bike(R1) and of of course other peoples bikes but the feeling that hit me wasnt the same when I saw that Springer. They were selling that bike and I was determined to buy it!
A week later I took the safety class, passed then got my endorsement. 2 days after that I was at the DMV and finally got my M1 DL.
During that time I was just reading up and researching and test riding bikes then thats how I ended up with Jager!
The day day I picked her up by buddies and I went for a 120mile ride and the weekend after went for a 200mile ride. Im so stoked!!
just like what the thread says.. just a new guy
to the forum and want to say hi and definitely just learn from everyone.
I’m also a new rider and got my first bike a few weeks back, a ‘19 Softail Street Bob. I’m really excited for future rides to come as this has been a dream of mine that been pushed aside for years.
Any other newbs out there like me?
Ride safe!
ooO(Hopefully youre not one of those that becomes a outspoken expert within 6 months) *chuckles
Edit: Nice looking 1st bike

Im a member of another forum (Corvette) and definitely know what youre talking about.
it's good for you to see there are some strange birds in this tree, an admonition to carry projectiles in your pocket as self defense on a motorcycle will lead to no good, do not do this....it's also a felony....Im kinda hoping he was kidding, apologies if so
the best way for you to avoid trouble is to actually avoid trouble, this means you keep your middle finger to yourself, and simply distance yourself from nutjobs as safely and expeditiously as possible
there are no trophies or winners out there, only those who come home alive and unhurt, and those who don't

I would say for sure after taking the safety class and now actually riding .... California drivers are by far the worse drivers!!
