Thanks everyone for the warm welcome. I want to spend some time this evening roaming around the site. Looks really interesting.
A little about myself. Got my first cycle in high school, a 150 Honda. Sold it when I went into the Army in 1968. Then in 1973 I bought a 550 Suzuki. had it 2 months, when it was stolen. That was the last of my biking until around 2002, when I purchased a used 1100 Goldwing. I kept that for 2 years and then bought a 1989 1500 Goldwing. My wife and I toured a lot on the bike until about 4 years ago, when she couldn't ride because of back problems. Two years ago next week, I lost my wife of 48 years, to brain cancer. It has been a rough time. So, last June I decided to trsde up for my first Harley, a 2017 Road King. That renewed my passion for riding. I LOVE MY HARLEY!!!!!!
So here I am. I had done regular maintenance on my Wing, oil, brakes, just minor things. But I am always up for a challenge. I would like to maybe get a Service Manual, as I am still trying to find out what this bike is all about, and where things are.
I look forward to being a regular on this forum. Again, thanks for the invite. Oh, how do I get a veteran's insigna beside my Avatar?
