OK so I posted about getting the sporty, well I have 2 that are in the running. Just need a little feed back of what you would do!! Ones a private party, other is HD of Bellingham, which by the way are awesome to work with.
1.
2004 1200C
Black/tan
545 miles
forward controlls
tranferable 5 year warrenty
asking $9500 willing to goto $9000
How important is having a warranty?
this is private party
2.
2004 1200C
Red/Silver
3400 miles
screamin' eagle mufflers, air filter, sissy bar with luggage rack and they will throw in pad as it doesn't have one
Just dropped price to $8500, of course not including tax, blah, blah, blah!!!
So we feel as though our hands are tied, but I am inclined and leaning more towards the one at the dealer. If they are motivated to move it being slow, do you think offering 8000 would be ok? I also liked the sound of sporty #2 and the other after market stuff. HELP!!! Let me know what you think.
Sounds like #2 is the better choice for you........3400 mi. is nothing. It's already got some accessories that you'd have to buy later anyway. Provided what is added on is what you like. If you like the Dealer already then this could be the start of a nice relationship. Maybe they will offer some warranty on the bike during negotiations. Good luck and have fun.
Thanks- in fact I sat on your bike last night!!! SWEEEEEEEET ride, little out of our price range right now!!! I am too leaning to #2!! I will keep you posted and put pics up when I do get it!!!
Thanks, we actually moved up to WA from Las Vegas 2 months ago. We lived up in the NW area. Where abouts are you? We were only there 2 years and we dirt biked and quaded around there. Happy riding and keep the rubber side down.
