Hi all, I was last on here about 10 years ago when I had a '77 Shovelhead. I now have an '88 FLST. I bought it as a project last October for cheap. It was a mess cosmetically and had a lot of electrical issues. It had a flat black paint job that had weathered over the years and ape hangers, no turn signals and the brake light and license mounted on the rear axle. Not my thing but it was cheap and is mechanically solid. I have done a ton of work over the past few months hoping to get it going by the time the weather is right. It came with no maintenance history at all so I flushed and changed all fluids and hoses, installed turn signals, bought new tanks and fenders and had them professionally painted gloss black. It's close to ready for shakedown runs and whatever else happens. This Spring and Summer will be fun!
