I bought 2013 street glide new. I have BATTLED with p1510 code since warranty years. Every sensor and component has been changed. I took to harley shop as much as I hate paying someone to do my work , but if it was in working harness I wanted them to find it. Plus got a good service done. $1800 later I picked scooter up near closing on a Saturday and pulled out and check engine light came on and ofcourse it was p1510. The tech said he found and fixed 3 broken wires. Ran smooth he said. Working on the road I tried to call 3 or 4 times when they were back in the shop amd long waits then disconnected. Had ride planned this weekend and went. I'm sure if I call they will either say bring it in so they can tell me they found more broken wires or not believe me that check engine light came on as I left the shop on my newly serviced scooter. I'm sure I'll catch hell for even asking but anybody out there have advice
I failed to mention also kickshifter came OFF last night while out of town. I have always been pretty pleased with the service there but now I'm questioning a lot

Welcome from Spartan Country, Michigan! I tell a lot of new comers to the forum to get: Factory Service manual and the Parts manual. Get a three ring binder and record all your maintenance, repairs, accessories, etc. This will be a great reminder of what was done when. And great material to pass along to the new owner should you sell and upgrade. Also know how large your fuel tank is, a rough idea of your range per tank, and record your fuel usage. I have an app called Simply Auto that I record all my fuel used. I use the odometer and use the fuel gage as reference only. I reset the odometer to zero on fill ups, and I know I can safely get 200 miles on a tank on around town riding, and upwards of 230+ on trips. Good Luck!!
