Would have sworn I was member here (my usual name is taken), but perhaps it was a different forum as there have been many over the years.
Longtime Harley (& other makes) rider but various moves have had me without one for a few years. Currently having fun putting a '16 FLHTP back together. Used and abused, it had very low miles - something not typical for a Police Bike - but it's mostly cleaned up and running like a Swiss motorcycle, if there is such a thing.
As you know, the Police tend to gut the wiring and pull their radios before putting their bikes on the market and mine was not a clean operation. But I was able to sort things out and the good folks at Biketronics were quite helpful if you are ever in the market. They provided me with a weatherproof Bluetooth radio and speaker set that works great with Apple CarPlay for tunes and gps. This is not a shameless plug, nor do I have anything to do with their company except throw money at them from time to time.
Formerly from New England & currently living in Colorado west of Denver. Having world class canyons in my back yard to ride in has been a wonderful change. If you are in the area and see such a bike, don't hesitate to say hi &/or wave.
